Module 5 Reflection and Action Plan

At the end of module 6 you will be asked to reflect on what you’ve learned and commit to executing on your new knowledge. Take a few minutes to print out and answer the first two questions on this action plan. You can find a link to the action plan on the right side of this page.

Think about what you’ve learned and ask yourself:

Write down your responses to the following questions found in your action plan:

  • What are some initial steps that you make in your classroom to meet the needs of children in care?
  • Are there some strategies you believe you could begin to implement immediately?
  • Who in your school can help you make these changes?

Save or print the Action Plan for modules 4-6, available via the link to the right on this page. You’ll be asked to reflect on what you’ve learned and think about what you can do to support children in your school who are coping with trauma and discontinuity. When you’re finished you will have committed to taking two actions. One will be an action you can take on your own. The other will be an action you'll take with the help of another educator.
